WANTED - AUTO BODY FABRICATOR/ TECHNICIAN/ MECHANIC - RALEIGH, NC (TRIANGLE REGION)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Our goal is to perform consistently great work for our customers at a fair price. Our employees' primary responsibility is to make that happen for each and every customer.

QUALIFICATIONS: Washburn Classic Restorations is seeking skilled auto body fabricator/ technicians who are looking for permanent, long-term employment. The ideal candidate will be driven, self-motivated and reliable; someone who takes pride in his or her work performance. Must have extremely high attention to detail, a desire for professional growth and a commitment to deliver the ultimate experience to our customers. Must have your own transportation and tools, must be stable and dependable, must be able to work well with others, and must be drug free.

SKILLS: If you are a skilled metal and auto body person, and you are tired of the day-to-day flat-rate routine, this may be your job. We are looking for experienced auto body and chassis technicians with strong fabrication and welding skills. Sheet metal straightening, making scratch panels, replacing/customizing chassis components, etc.

• Skilled with metal finishing, filling.
• Knowledge of panel & rust repair.
• Knowledge of disassembly, bagging & tagging parts.
• Ability to problem solve.
• MIG & TIG welding skills a plus.

Should have a knowledge of classic car & truck layout and engine/ driveline/ suspension. Must demonstrate high standards of quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time (40 hours per week).

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 years related professional auto body experience; MIG & TIG welding skills a plus.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or equivalent.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be fluent in English and must have a valid North Carolina driver's license.

INCENTIVE COMPENSATION: Performance-based bonuses for outstanding work.

ANNUAL PAY RANGE: Compensation is $35,360 to $72,800 for qualified candidates, dependent upon work experience, demonstrated skills, ability, work ethic and other factors.
